lunarithm, a kazakh horror manga
this manga(?) is about a weird post-apocalyptic horror story. it has only 3 chapters as of writing this and it is too early to tell where things are heading but it feels promising. and i really like the art style. it is done by one dude as a passion project and it is really ambitious.

you can tell because there is a complimentary soundtrack! for a manga! that's pretty cool. songs are titled by their respective chapter names and they fit with what happens in the chapters. for example for the first chapter the song incorporates sound of subway, as the first chapter is set there. soundtrack feels really warm but can be bone chilling at times as well.
there are also unique cultural influences. for example there is a scene with gravestones and characters talking about how they are supposed to point at sacred place. then they talk about if the place they are pointing to still exists. they are talking about kaaba but it's done in an implicit way and i really like that. it is kind of surreal to hear about that in a manga format as well.
that's all i wanted to talk about really. i hope this continues and gets more attention. you can read it over at mangadex and webtoon. anyhow here are some panels from the manga to end things off.
